First of all…..everyone growing up on Gardiner Dr in Bay Shore, NY knows damn well that the Bakers had 12 kids (I lost count /moved away at Kim) and 2 parents (Sam and Lila)…..that made 14! But, I digress to my childhood, sorry…..:-)
Divorced, Paul Baker (Zach Braff) met, and eventually married divorced marketing graduate, Zoey (Gabrielle Union). When they married they each had kids and then they had a few of their own.
Totaling 9 kids and 2 parents, ooops 3 parents including Paul’s ex, Kate (Erica Christensen) who helps out all the time.
A true blended family of all genders, abilities, and…..colors.
Paul is a restaurant owner and chef interested solely in making breakfasts!
After he married Zoey, he invented a sauce that, depending on what you put it on, was either: Hot, Sweet, or Savory.
He got money to mass produce that sauce and is making a fine living!
The family of 13 (A Bakers dozen!…..when they took in Paul’s sister’s son) moved from their kinda small home to a new very nice and spacious home in a gated community where, unfortunately, racism flourishes.
Needless to say they did not feel at home…

“Cheaper by the Dozen” is a much better, and funnier, movie than the hater reviews on IMDb make it seem.
Lets look a closer look at who the haters are: 1. The Bakers have two dogs: Obama and Biden 2. The Baker’s are quite the mix of colors, genders, and abilities. 3. This mixed family has a sign in their window “Black Lives Matter”. In short…..the haters sound like orange idiot lovers, and, as such, their opinions will never matter.
