Sports writer, Mack (Gina Rodriguez) and her team of lifelong friends, Adam (Damon Wayans Jr.), Brannagan (Augustus Prew), and Little (Joel Courtney) have spent years perfecting a ton of “plays” to land someone in bed with one of the team members.
The “plays” work really well. 🙂
One day, Mack meets fellow writer, Nick (Tom Ellis), and the team successfully implements a “play” so Mack can get Nick in bed.
But….something has changed in Mack which baffles the team members.

“Players” is a fun, kinda raunchy, romcom with a terrific cast and, best of all….baseball including lots of references to an old team (now the SF Giants) and the current Yankees.
We LOVED it!
