
Will (Kevin Quinn) has been arrested several times, this latest arrest being the one that broke the camels back, as they say.
Will now has a choice: Go to a church camp with George (Jahbril Cook), and his mother, or go to juvenile hall.
He wisely chooses camp.
Avery’s (Bailee Madison) father owns and runs the camp and she is a counselor there most of the year, but, during this camp, she is a camper just like everyone else.
We don’t know much about, Presley (Kat Conner Sterling), but we do know that she likes George, and George likes her. They just can’t communicate with each other. Arrrghh.
Will and Avery connect. Will helps George connect with Presley. Then throw in an asshole camper who also likes Avery, Sean (Ian Tucker), and…..

“A Week Away” is a musical! I love musicals. This movie gets a bit too heavy with religion for a little while, but, other than that it is a fun, uplifting, movie……and the music is great!
